ABOUT ME 🛸

I'M TASSY, a performing artist from Powder Springs, GA. Singing was my first love, but I took my first steps dancing to The Sound of Music on VCR.

I began my training at Bravo Dance Center in Acworth, GA and the Cobb County Center For Excellence in the Performing Arts at Pebblebrook High School in Mableton, GA. I then graduated in 2022 from Wright State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Dance. Raider Up!!​

During the summer of 2023, I had the most electric experience as an onstage swing in THE WHO's TOMMY Revival (dir. Des McAnuff) at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, IL. A year later, I made my Broadway debut as an ensemble member and cover in this same revival at the Nederlander Theatre. In between these gigs, I basked in my Greek heritage and performed across North America in the Ensemble of the MAMMA MIA! 25th Anniversary Tour (dir. Martha Banta). I am passionate about all the ways theatre serves humanity. I crave human connection, self-expression, and sharing artistic interpretations of the human experience. I believe theatre is a beautiful medium we can use to inform and accept one another, help us all to feel seen and heard, and share our deepest truths and experiences. People are inherently artistic, and I'm so grateful to be part of a community that actively practices understanding and acceptance.

 

Also, I am profoundly connected to jazz music and dance. I feel the most whole and myself when I'm singing a standard.   ​
